Police need your help finding a man and woman they say robbed a taxi cab driver early Monday morning near Jamaica Park in South Reno.
Police say a Reno Sparks Cab driver picked up the two suspects from the 2700 block of South Virginia Street around 1 a.m. on Monday. They told the driver they wanted to be taken to Jamaica Park, but when the driver arrived at the location, police say the man attacked the driver and stole his wallet and cellphone.Â
The victim was able to find help from citizens who called police.Â
Police say the victim described the man as an unknown race, in his 20s, with a shaved head. He was last seen wearing a black jacket and black pants. The woman was described as being in her 20s and heavy set. She wore a grey sweatshirt and a black hat.Â
The victim was taken to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.Â
