A new report details the prevalence of domestic violence deaths in Nevada.
  Â
According to the Nevada Network Against Domestic Violence, there were 43 deaths from domestic violence including both perpetrators and victims last year.
  Â
Of those - 34 were in southern Nevada, mostly in Las Vegas but also Henderson and North Las Vegas.
  Â
Of the remaining nine deaths, one was in Tonopah in Nye County and two were out of Fallon.  Â
Two more deaths were in Carson City. And four more were in the Reno and Sparks area.
You may remember some of the cases involved.Â
For example last September Mark Constantino killed his wife and a male friend before taking his own life.
  Â
And just over a year ago in Fallon Larry Small killed his former wife Kathy before taking his own life in Humboldt County.
And last august Jonathan Pope shot and killed Deputy Carl Howell who was responding to a domestic violence call before being killed by deputies.
  Â
The report says more than two thirds of the deaths involved firearms and more than two thirds of the victims were women.
