Report: Reno Justice Court Administrator Indicted in Arizona

A court administrator for the Reno Justice Court has reportedly been indicted on fraud and theft charges in Arizona.

According to the Arizona Daily Independent, a grand jury indicted Dexter Thomas on four felony counts after an investigation by Arizona’s auditor general found Thomas falsified travel expense forms and used a Maricopa county credit card for personal expenses

The Independent reports Thomas resigned in 2015.

We reached out to the Reno Justice Court - they said they learned of the indictment against Thomas on Tuesday from a “court organization." Thomas was put on administrative leave Wednesday. 

In a statement they also said -

“We are not aware of this type of activity here at the Reno Justice Court, however it is currently under review."
