There will be some upcoming changes to your commute if you travel down Virginia Street.

Now through Friday, the Regency Way and Virginia Street intersection will be closed to westbound traffic. 

On Tuesday, Martin Street will be closed to through traffic between Virginia Street and Haskell Street for six to eight weeks for roadway and sidewalk demolition and reconstruction.

Starting Saturday through August 1st, Wells Avenue, Holcomb Avenue, and Regency Way will close at Virginia Street for paving.

Construction continues on side streets in Midtown, including Tahoe Street, St. Lawrence Avenue, E. Taylor Street and Moran Street. 

The RTC will also be continuing construction on the 19-01 project in Sparks which includes roadwork on 15th Street and El Rancho Drive.

15th Street will be closed to through traffic from Victorian Avenue to C Street.

And on El Rancho Drive traffic will be open in both directions, but traffic lanes will be moved to the west half of the road while crews do work on the concrete
