The Rocklin Police Department reports two people from Nixon, Nevada were arrested for shoplifting on Tuesday.
Officials said officers responded to the 6600 block of Lonetree Boulevard in Rocklin, California on the report of two people shoplifting.
They said while they were responding, the suspects left the area in a car.
Officials said officers found the car a short time later and conducted an enforcement stop.
They said a loaded firearm, high capacity magazines and stolen property were found in the car.
Officials said 20-year-old Ashley McDaniel was arrested for criminal conspiracy and burglary shoplifting, and 23-year-old Brady Harry was arrested for criminal conspiracy, carrying a loaded firearm, possession of large capacity magazines and burglary shoplifting.
They said the two were booked at the South Placer Jail.
