Soccer fans can gather for special events this month as plans for the sport continue to grow.

The 6,000-seat stadium will be home to a USL professional men’s team and will include an entertainment district with bars and restaurants as well as a 301-room hotel.

A new stadium and pro soccer club are planned as part of a major redevelopment at a vacant Reno property.
