The Washoe County School District has added two electric buses and charging stations as part of a pilot program. 

The Federal Highway Administration awarded a more than $8 million grant to Nevada through the National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure formula program, which helps states quickly deploy electric vehicle charging stations.
