The Nevada softball team dropped its two games on the second day of the Puerto Vallarta College Challenge. The Pack fell to Long Beach State, 9-2 in the morning game before Utah Valley won the afternoon contest, 5-3.
After a tough loss in the series opener, the Pack tried to bounce back with aggressive offense in the first inning but fell short, losing 12-1 in five innings to the Broncos.
