The pandemic has put an emphasis on single-use and disposable items, and Waste Management has some tips on what should be recycled.

Waste Management will reopen the Commercial Row Transfer Station at 8 a.m. on Wednesday, April 8. There are new safety protocols in place.

This Saturday Waste Management is collecting Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) at their facility at 1455 E. Greg Street in Sparks.  

There are some changes to trash pickup in the Truckee Meadows this week.  

It's been a few years since Waste Management started single stream recycling in the Reno area, but they say they are still seeing a lot of things put in those bins that shouldn't be there.
