Sparks Councilwoman Julia Ratti was recently appointed by the Washoe County Commission to the State Senate representing District 13 for the 30th Special Session of the Nevada Legislature which begins Monday, October 10. Ratti was not seeking re-election to her Ward 1 Sparks City Council seat. She has resigned as a member of the Sparks City Council effective Sunday, October 9.
