Heavy snow and ice is to blame for snapped gas lines off the side of the Rideout Community Center in Tahoe City.  

Tahoe Lake Elementary School has been evacuated due to a gas leak. No injuries are reported and everyone is safe. 

North Tahoe Fire Protection District says they responded to a call for a commercial structure fire at the North Tahoe High School at about 9:29 am on Friday.
