Caltrans says it has canceled Wednesday's overnight closure of Interstate 80 in south Placer County. The raise of the Horseshoe Bar Road Overcrossing was completed early due to the unique configuration of the overcrossing, the utilization of more powerful hydraulic jacks and the increasing experience of the contractor crews.
Caltrans says Interstate 80 will be closed overnight in both directions in south Placer County as crews raise the Horseshoe Bar Road Overcrossing. Motorists can expect an eight-mile detour during the closure scheduled to start at 11 p.m. Tuesday and end at approximately 5 a.m. Wednesday.
