This time of year we see a spike in crime around town, especially porch pirates trying to steal your holiday packages.
Washoe County deputies are trying to crack down on people stealing packages off porches and they're asking the community to help.

For the last 8 years, the Pirates of Reno have been serving food to the less fortunate at that location. They continue to do that every Thursday.
