The new high school to be built at Wildcreek now has name, and it's a familiar one. The Washoe County School District's Board of Trustees decided Tuesday that it will be called Procter Hug High School.

The Washoe County School District is asking for help naming the area's newest high school at Wildcreek. The new school—the first to be completed with WC-1 revenue— will accommodate approximately 2,500 students, which will help alleviate overcrowding at other schools.

During the course of the investigation, police say it was learned the 14-year-old boy had brought knives to school on the days leading up to the incident with the intent to initiate an altercation with another student.
