The Environmental Protection Agency awarded a $600,000 grant to Lovelock and Pershing County.

The winter season has arrived, and with it the possibility of canceling school due to hazardous weather conditions. 

While school is now in session for most of Washoe County, Incline Village and other counties don't start until later this month.

This fall school will start a little later at some area elementary schools to allow for extra time over the summer to make improvements to classrooms.
