Have you ever thought about hosting a foreign exchange student? Every year local Rotary Clubs bring students from all over the world to Northern Nevada and they're always looking for families to host these students here.
Around 50 volunteers from the Rotary Club of Sparks and the Sparks Centennial Sunrise Rotary Club planted new Austrian Pine trees while the city of Sparks dug the holes and provided the top soil and drip irrigation.
Financial literacy - defined as the ability to use knowledge and skills to manage money - is challenging for many. That's why Reno-Sparks Rotary Clubs, District 5190, make sure the teens they are mentoring get a strong foundation in personal finances before they graduate high school.
