The RTC unveiled new plans Tuesday night on proposed changes to commuting in the South Meadows area. This is the second meeting of the South Meadows Multi-modal Transportation Study that started in March. More than 50 people showed up for the second meeting. But overall the RTC says it has received more than 3,000 comments. The proposed plans displayed Tuesday largely came out of that feedback.
When construction got underway earlier this year, many businesses told 2 News they expected customer flow to decrease. But due to the temporary parking spots right outside, some shop owners are seeing more customers than ever before.
Numerous changes are being considered, including timing adjustments and route modifications. The RTC will also present proposed changes to RTC ACCESS and fare policy changes.
