Douglas County deputies say Mitchell had been reported missing on Sunday, July 21.
One person was pronounced deceased, the other three were treated for medical attention.
East Fork Fire Protection District, along with other agencies, contained a structure fire to one acre in the Topaz Lake subdivision Sunday.
A flood watch is for the Slinkard Fire burn scar including the portion of Highway 395 along Topaz Lake until 5 p.m. Thursday. If heavy rains fall in this area, another debris flow could occur.
Sierra Front says the nearly 1,700-acre Cutter Fire near Leviathan Mine Road north of Topaz Lake on the east side of U.S. 395 is now 85% contained.
The warning has been issued for Wellington and Smith Valley until 4 pm Tuesday, Sept. 12.
The Bureau of Land Management says containment continues to grow on the 8,925-acre Slinkard Fire. The lightning-sparked fire west of Topaz Lake is now 93% contained.
Douglas County Deputies say an autopsy report states a California woman was drunk when she drowned in Topaz Lake on June 17th.
