Authorities say the body of 51-year old Rodney, Mitchell of Reno was recovered this morning around 9: 45 a.m. at Topaz Lake.

Douglas County deputies say Mitchell had been reported missing on Sunday, July 21.

After a search conducted by The Douglas County Sheriff's Office Marine units and dive team along with The Nevada Department of Wildlife, Mitchell's body was found. 

Although authorities believe that Mitchell drowned, the exact cause of death is pending investigation by the Washoe County Medical Examiner's Office. Â
