Senator Catherine Cortez Masto revealed on Valentine's Day where she will donate her salary from the 35-day shutdown.
She tweeted that it when to Three Square in Las Vegas, who work with community partners to reach families at risk for hunger and struggling individuals, and the Food Bank of Northern Nevada.
She said in the tweet, "I'm thankful for all their efforts... these two charities that work every day to provide food security to thousands of Nevadans."
