Grammy winning singer and guitarist Glen Campbell has passed away at the age of 81.
"It is with the heaviest of hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather, and legendary singer and guitarist," his website read Tuesday. The site says that Campbell had fought a "long and courageous battle" with Alzheimer's Disease.
Campbell won 10 Grammy awards in his carer and was inducted into both the Country Music Hall of Fame and the Musician's Hall of Fame. His most recent honor was a 2014 Grammy for his song "I'm Not Gonna Miss You."
