The Reno Police Department says a skateboarder was crossing the street illegally through the intersection of Watt and West Pueblo Streets when they were hit by a car.
Officials said it around 4:30 p.m., a driver was going westbound on Pueblo when they hit the skateboarder. The skateboarder was not in the crosswalk.
They said the skateboarder was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
Officials said drugs or alcohol were not factors in the crash.
They said the driver remained on scene and the roads are open at this time.
Officials said the skateboarder was cited.
