On Thursday the Principal of Sky Ranch Middle School, Gina Leonhard, released a statement regarding social media traffic and rumors about the possibility of an incident taking place at the school.
Leonhard says at this point they do not have evidence that there is any credible threat to the school.
She says they are investigating the situation and all safety protocols are being followed.
She says those at Sky Ranch Middle School take such rumors seriously and that the safety and security of their students and staff is their highest priority.
Leonhard says classes are being held as usual.
