Truckee Meadows Fire Protection District and the Reno Fire Department worked together to contain a brush fire in North Reno.Â
Firefighters responded to the scene just after 9:30 p.m. Wednesday night. The fire is about an acre in size between Copperfield drive and Highway 395.Â
TMFPD tells us that the fire has been knocked down as of 10:30 p.m. Four crews are expected to remain on scene mopping up the fire for several hours.
