Sparks Police officers arrested a man they say he held a woman at gunpoint against her will inside a home late Wednesday night.
Police say 31-year-old Aiuga Lalau was arguing with the woman when he pulled out the gun.
They say Lalau hit her with the gun, threatened her and didn't let her leave the home, located in the 5200 block of Los Altos Parkway.
Officials say when Lalau fell asleep, the woman escaped the home.
Lalau faces charges of assault with a deadly weapon, false imprisonment, and domestic battery.
