The Sparks Police Department says they are investigating a fraud case where the suspect is using victim's debit card numbers to make withdrawals at ATM machines.

They said on February 9, a victim reported fraudulent charges on his card. The previous day, Sparks Police says an unidentified man made two fraudulent ATM withdrawals using the victim's debit card number from a machine at a bank located in the 5200 block of Vista Boulevard in Sparks.

They said a second victim reported two fraudulent withdrawals on February 19 by the same suspect in the same area.

Sparks Police says both victims were still in possession of their debit cards and detectives believe the suspect may have obtained the debit card numbers by using a skimming device.

Sparks Police are asking for the public's help identifying the suspect. Anyone with any information can contact Detective Harris at (775) 353-2225 extension 5518 or Secret Witness at (775) 322-4900. You will remain anonymous. A $250 reward is being offered.Â
