Shohei Ohtani singled after being dropped to sixth in the order for the Los Angeles Dodgers. The Dodgers lost 6-2 to the Milwaukee Brewers in the National League Championship Series, leaving them trailing 3-0 and on the brink of elimination. It's the lowest Ohtani has hit since joining the Dodgers three years ago. Manager Dave Roberts wanted to alternate hitters against Milwaukee's left-handed starter. Ohtani has been struggling with injuries and is hitting .182 over seven postseason games. He hasn’t homered since August.
