Kyle Larson storms to a dominant Kansas win, tightening his grip on the NASCAR Cup Series title race
Kyle Larson has won two of the last three NASCAR Cup Series races, including a dominant victory at Kansas Speedway. He broke his own track record by leading 235 laps and passed Chase Briscoe for the lead with seven laps remaining. Larson now holds a 26-point lead over Denny Hamlin heading into next weekend's race at Las Vegas. His two recent wins come after a 51-race drought, and Larson credits his team's hard work for the turnaround. With six races left, and a track that Larson has had plenty of success at coming up next, he is in the driver's seat for a second consecutive championship.
