7/23/2019

Four Aces homered in game one of the three-game series against the Tacoma Rainiers Tuesday night. Reno defeated their Pacific Northern Division rivals by a score of 10-7 behind a 2-for-4 effort from 2019 Pacific Coast League All-Star Yasmany Tomas. Tomas launched his 29th home run of the season, tying teammate Kevin Cron for the Pacific Coast League lead. Tomas was joined by teammates Andy Young, Domingo Leyba and Abraham Almonte in the home run category tonight. Leyba hit his 16th blast of the year in the bottom of the first inning to give Reno an early 2-0 advantage. As a team, Reno never slowed down. They plated 10 runs on 11 hits Tuesday night and recorded three multi-run innings. The win gives Reno a record of 43-59 this season with 38 games remaining in the regular season. Greater Nevada Field will open its doors just 17 more times this season.Â
