Things 2 Do This Weekend!

It's going to be a great Mother’s Day weekend! And there's no better way to celebrate than taking her out to some awesome events like Moms on the Run, Leann Rimes, or even a dance party!

One of the best parts of Reno is hands down the Truckee River, and it’s time to celebrate it! More than 45,000 people in attendance last year and this year’s Reno River Festival will be the biggest one yet! They will have a second stage for live music, a bigger craft beer experience, and the Reno River Roll. Plus they're adding to the adventure park and carnival atmosphere from last year. But of course... the whitewater competitions are the main event! That's all weekend long at Wingfield Park in downtown Reno! For more information, you can click here.

And what better way to celebrate moms than taking her for a run! Join thousands of other runners at the 19th annual Moms on the Run! It helps support local women fighting breast and gynecological cancers. That's at Reno High School's Foster Field this Sunday starting at 7:30am! For more information, you can click here.

This weekend is the 80th annual Nevada Junior Livestock show! 4-H programs help kids get a hands-on learning experience raising and showing different animals like steers, sheep, and goats. That runs through Saturday at the Reno Livestock Events Center. For more information, you can click here.

How do I live without you? Luckily you won’t have to find out because legendary singer songwriter Leann Rimes is coming to Sparks! Tickets are still available starting out at just $45 at the Nugget Casino Resort. But hurry, you can't fight the moonlight after this sun has set!  For more information, you can click here.

Strap on your dancing shoes, it’s time to boogie! Get ready for three days of dance workshops, three nights of social dancing and one epic pool party at the inaugural Reno International Dance Expo! With dancers and teachers from across the country and four different continents, you are sure to have a blast! And you can come learn how to dance yourself at the Grand Sierra Resort's Silver State Pavilion for the Reno Dance Expo this Friday, Saturday and Sunday. For more information, you can click here.
