A volcano in eastern Indonesia erupted Sunday, sending ash over 13,000 feet into the sky.
Nearly 2,800 people were evacuated from the slopes of Mount Ili Lewotolok on Lembata island.Â
The Disaster Mitigation Agency says there were no deaths or injuries from the eruption.Â
A flight warning was issued and a local airport was closed by the Transportation Ministry after the eruption.Â
