Truckee Meadows Fire Protection District (TMFPD) knocked down a garage fire in Mogul the evening of November 9, leaving the home uninhabitable. 

TMFPD says the home was occupied when the fire broke out, but there are no reported injuries. 

TMFPD crews were able to limit the fire to the garage, but smoke ran through the home making it uninhabitable. 

TMFPD says the Nevada Red Cross has been notified of the residents situation.

A single engine was able to knock down the fire before other units arrived on scene.

The cause of the fire is under investigation at this time.
