THE ROW is expanding and hoping to add more space for special events.
A representative with THE ROW tells us that they hope this will help improve the downtown image.
To make room, they will be demolishing the building on Virginia Street and 4th Street this weekend.
The City of Reno says Virginia Street and 4th Street are anticipated to be closed starting Saturday at 8 a.m. - and on Sunday for the demolition.
Virginia Street is anticipated to be opened by Saturday at 5 p.m. However, full closures may be required depending on demolition progress.
4th Street will remain closed throughout the weekend and is anticipated to be opened by Sunday at 5 p.m.
The demolition work is expected to be completed over the weekend, but debris removal may extend into next week. The City's goal is to have sidewalks open for the 2020 USBC Open Championships, which begin March 21 at the National Bowling Stadium.
