Marnell Gaming, LLC has released reopening guidelines for the Nugget Casino Resort in Sparks.
As it reopens, Nugget Casino Resort will be implementing enhanced health and safety protocols in accordance with all federal, state and local requirements, including appropriate physical distancing, increased frequency of cleaning and sanitization, and mandatory face-coverings for all Nugget team members. All Nugget team members are also being trained on overall awareness concerning COVID-19, and every department is being trained on enhanced cleaning and disinfecting protocols specific to its area using methods recommended by the CDC and otherwise required by applicable state and local authorities.
Every Nugget employee will be tested for COVID-19 prior to returning to work.
Marnell Gaming has also secured over 15,000 FDA approved PCR COVID-19 tests manufactured by Spectrum Solutions for team members and guests and has retained SMRTL laboratory in Salt Lake City for test analysis.
Nugget Management has implemented a number of measures based on guidance from state and local officials for the well-being of guests and employees:
• temperature checks for all guests and employees entering the property.
• the casino floor will be limited to 50% occupancy with slot machine banks arranged to allow for proper physical distancing and limited seating at all table games and bingo.
• hand-sanitizing stations will be placed throughout the property and the frequency of cleaning and disinfecting in all common and back of house areas will be increased.
• Rosie’s Café, Oyster Bar, Starbucks and Anthony’s Chophouse will be open for food and beverage service, with social distancing protocols in place and with limited occupancy in accordance with state and local guidelines. Reservations will be required.
