The Washoe County School District (WCSD) Board of Trustees welcomed three new members and four returning members at its meeting on Tuesday.
Jacqueline Calvert, Andrew B. Caudill, and Ellen Minetto joined President Katy Simon Holland, Scott Kelley, Vice President Malena Raymond, and Dr. Angie Taylor on the Board of Trustees.
“We are excited to welcome our new Trustees and look forward to serving our 64,000 students, our outstanding employees, and our community together,” said Board President Katy Simon Holland. “We have much to be proud of in our District, and we are all dedicated to the hard work of supporting our students’ success.”
Jacqueline Calvert will represent District F on the Board of Trustees.
Andrew B. Caudill will represent District C on the Board of Trustees.
Ellen Minetto will represent District B on the Board of Trustees.
Tuesday's swearing-in ceremony for newly-elected Trustees and election of officers was held inside Washoe County School District Administration Building at 425 E. Ninth Street.
