A Reno man will spend up to eight years in prison for trying to force a woman to engage in prostitution.
The attorney general's office says 23-year-old Nicholas Verlon Dykes pleaded guilty to attempted coercion and pandering. Both are felony charges.
This all stems from an attempted trafficking case from February of last year.
He will now spend the next three to eight years behind bars.
The FBI and Reno Police Department HEAT unit investigated the case.
In 2016, Dykes was convicted of one count of robbery and one count of possession of stolen property. He absconded from parole supervision in June 2016.
