Power has been restored after a widespread outage affected more than 9,100 NV Energy customers Wednesday morning in parts of northern Washoe County.
Information previously displayed on the NV Energy outage website showed outages affecting more than 9,100 customers in the 89506 and 89508 ZIP codes. The outages were reported around 8:30 a.m., and the cause of both outages was listed as under investigation.
The outage has since cleared, restoring service to affected customers.
An NV Energy representative said on Wednesday that the cause of the outage remains under investigation and no additional information was immediately available.
