With the end of the year just around the corner many companies are preparing for the annual New Year's Day Rose Parade.

This includes organ procurement organization Nevada Donor Network with their "One Legacy Donate Life Float."

The float, scheduled to appear during the 137th Rose Parade, features a floragraph portrait of the late patriarch of the Dolan Auto Group, Tom Dolan.

The Dolan family gathered on Monday to put the last flowers on the portrait.

"It's a constant reminder of how much our dad did in this community and how he wanted this community to be so strong and we will continue his legacy and continue to give back to this community that's been so good for us," says Ryan Dolan, CEO of Dolan Auto Group.

In 2016, Dolan underwent a lung transplant, his son said that provided him eight more years of life.

Dolan passed away in September 2024 at the age of 75.

A registered donor, Dolan gave back the gift of healing that he received, becoming a cornea donor, giving the gift of sight to two individuals when he passed in 2024.

Nevada Donor Network says one person can save up to eight lives through organ donation, heal up to 75 lives through tissue donation and help restore sight for up to two people through cornea donation.
