Two wanted fugitives from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, were arrested in Sparks on Tuesday. Members of the Regional Sex Offender Notification Unit uncovered information that 36-year-old Nathan Potier and 36-year-old Erica Palmer may have been hiding in the Reno-Sparks area.
After pursuing multiple leads, investigators found the suspects at a location in Sparks. They were taken into custody and booked into the Washoe County jail.
Potier is wanted on a warrant for sexual assault of a child, while Palmer is wanted for enabling sexual abuse of a child.
The Regional Sex Offender Notification Unit is comprised of members from the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office, Reno Police, Sparks Police, Nevada Parole and Probation, and the United States Marshals Service.
