The Food Bank of Northern Nevada and local partners will host a free Family Health Festival on Saturday, July 26.
The event will take place at Hug High School, located 3530 Sullivan Lane in Sparks, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Available services include food distribution through the Food Bank’s Mobile Harvest, dental screenings, blood pressure checks, free haircuts, mental health resources, and help with Food Stamp/SNAP and Medicaid applications.
Organizers ask that attendees bring insurance cards if they have them.
The event will also offer free back-to-school vaccines for children ages four to 18, school supplies, children’s books and clothing items while supplies last.
Families are encouraged to attend to receive a range of support and information ahead of the new school year.
