Community Health Alliance now fully own its Wells Avenue Health Center location.
In January 2024, Community Health Alliance purchased the location with financial support from the State of Nevada and the help of its local banking partner, United Federal Credit Union.
CHA says the William N. Pennington Foundation paid off the remainder of the $2.7 million mortgage in November 2024.
Community Health Alliance provides a range of health services including primary care, pediatric care, reproductive health, maternal health services, dental services, behavioral health, pharmacies, prescription food pantries, WIC, care coordination, case management, and more.
The non-profit says it now plans to develop the Wells Avenue location into a comprehensive health campus.
This year alone, that location is on pace to provide 40,864 patient visits.
