The El Dorado County Sheriff's Office's, Office of Emergency Services says a hazmat incident reported near the Pier to Camp Richardson has been resolved.
In an earlier Facebook post, the Sheriff's Office had raised concerns that the water system for homes along Jameson Beach Road may have been impacted.
As a precaution, residents were asked not to use their water systems while the situation was evaluated.
On Monday, the Sheriff's Office confirmed that the incident has been resolved and the water systems are now safe to use.
Officials thanked the community for its cooperation during the investigation.
More details on the nature of the incident have not been released.
