The City of Sparks will open Deer Pool to the public on Monday, June 29. It will be open daily, Monday-Sunday, with three timed sessions.
Each open swim session will be limited to 50 participants on a first-come first-serve basis. Customers are asked to properly social distance and wear face-coverings while waiting in line.
• Session 1: 11:45 am – 1:15 pmÂ
• Session 2: 1:30 pm – 3:00 pmÂ
• Session 3: 3:15 pm – 4:45 pmÂ
Customers will be required to bring their own bag for personal belongings. Customers will not be allowed to change in the locker rooms or use the showers. Restrooms will be available, and staff will clean and disinfect between sessions. No swim lessons are being scheduled at this time.
Pricing is as follows:
• Adult (18 to 54): $5.00Â
• Youth: (under 18) $3.00Â
• Seniors: (55 +) $4.00Â
• Family (up to six members): $15.00Â
• Tuesdays: All ages can swim for $2.00Â
Alf Sorensen pool does not have open swim at this time, but remains open for lap swimming, Aquacise, Physical Therapy, and the Piranha swim team. Additionally, Alf Sorenson is open for:
Pickleball - Mondays and Wednesdays: 8:00 to 11:00 am • Fridays: 7 to 11 amÂ
Small Wonders Program - Monday-Friday: 7:00 am to 5:30 pm.Â
