Reno police are asking for the public’s help locating a 38-year-old man who was last seen earlier this month.
Phil Ray Mahabeer was last seen on Sept. 5 in the area of 7700 Sky Vista Parkway. A neighbor captured him on camera earlier that day, and his phone last pinged in the Pyramid Lake area at about 5:24 p.m. that same day.
Mahabeer is described as an Asian man who is about 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs 147 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.
Police said Mahabeer was last known to be driving a maroon 2008 Toyota Land Cruiser with Nevada license plate #1002D6.
Anyone who has seen Mahabeer or has information about where he may be is asked to contact the Reno Police Department Missing Persons Unit at (775) 321-8372. Information can also be reported to the Reno Police Department at (775) 334-COPS (2677). People who locate Mahabeer and believe he needs immediate assistance should call 911.
