The Nevada Department of Corrections reports that the suspect in the stabbing, 51-year-old James Park, was the minimum security inmate who walked away from the Stewart Conservation Camp on August 18th, 2019.

The Reno Police Department (RPD) says they responded to a stabbing at the Reno RV Park at Mill Street and Wells Avenue on Wednesday night.

They said a subject jumped the fence into the RV Park and was seen and confronted by security.

RPD says the suspect pulled out a knife and started a physical struggle.

They say both the victim and suspect received several cuts but none were life-threatening.

RPD said the security officer was able to take the subject, James Park, into custody.
