Nevada Governor Joe Lombardo has vetoed a bill related to paid family leave.

Assembly Bill 388 would require certain public and private employers to establish certain procedures and forms relating to paid family leave and require certain public and private employers to provide notice relating to paid family leave.

In his veto, the governor said the bill introduced broad, burdensome mandates that would disrupt Nevada businesses, especially small and mid-sized ones.

He further said it would disrupt the economic stability of businesses across the state.
