Though many voters will be focused on the Democratic National Convention this week, the Trump-Vance campaign is holding rallies nationwide.
On Monday, Nevada Republican Party Chairman Michael McDonald hosted a rally in Reno.
Chairman McDonald, State Senator Lisa Krasner, and local business leaders argued against what they consider the failed economic policies of Kamala Harris and the Democrats.

"Kamala Harris comes out and says once I get in office, I'm going to change everything, I have a plan. You've been in office for three and a half years. You have done nothing," said Nevada Republican Party Chairman Michael McDonald.
Chairman McDonald stated during his speech that inflation has risen above 21% in Nevada, and housing prices have spiked. The U.S. Congressional Joint Economic Committee can be credited with this data.

McDonald argues that, in contrast, former President Trump has a strong economic track record and a clear strategy in place to address inflation and raise wages.
"We have to stand up, we have to fight, we have to hear from average everyday workers, and average everyday business owners. That's why we're here today," said McDonald.
McDonald emphasized his remarks by invoking a famous Ronald Reagan line from when he ousted incumbent Jimmy Carter in 1980.
"The biggest question as we look over these notes, are you better off now than you were four years ago," asked Chairman McDonald.
Reno-based Republican State Senator Lisa Krasner believes that the economy performs better for the working class under Reaganomics, which includes low taxes and reduced regulations.
"Small, medium, and large businesses create jobs for people. People need jobs, so that they can afford to pay their rent, mortgage, food, gas, put their kid through college," said (R-D16) Nevada State Senator and Co-Minority Whip Lisa Krasner.
For our coverage of the DNC, we interviewed Secretary Deb Haaland, the Interior Secretary of the Biden Administration. Secretary Haaland highlighted that the Biden administration's 'Build Back Better Framework' is focused on revitalizing America's economic engine and reconstructing the middle class.
"We think of what it's like when our president was sworn in as our president in 2020. We were in the midst of a terrible pandemic. Our country has been healed," said Haaland. "And, it has been extremely strong. He has paid attention to what people need. He has lowered the price of prescription drugs, he has forgiven student loans."

We reached out to the Nevada State Democratic Party who provided us the following statement:
"Vice President Kamala Harris has a bold agenda to increase economic opportunity for all and bring down costs for hardworking Nevada families - from taking on corporate price gouging to fighting to reduce the costs of groceries, medications, and housing. The Trump-Vance Project 2025 agenda would raise taxes on the middle class, allow employers to stop paying overtime, and give more tax breaks to ultra-wealthy billionaires, giant corporations and their CEOs. Nevada's working families cannot trust him and quite literally cannot afford another four years of Donald Trump." - Nevada State Democratic Party spokesperson Nicholas Simões Machado.
