For the past 15 years the Big Reno Coat Drive has helped kids stay warm during the winter. This year organizers have partnered with the Washoe County School District and the Education Alliance to help achieve their goal. 

"I think there is a greater need, especially with COVID-19 and how it has impacted our economy," says Adam Carlsen with the Big Reno Coat Drive. 

To date they have collected 34 thousand coats. This year they already raised 12 thousand dollars but the goal is 20 thousand. All coats must be donated new, with tags. 

There will be a drive up and drop off coat drive this Saturday from 12 P.M. to 4 P.M. at UNR.
