The Nevada Department of Wildlife (NDOW) has released the results of its annual Operation Dry Water enforcement campaign conducted over the Fourth of July holiday weekend.
NDOW says wardens contacted 469 vessels carrying 1,373 people.
Three boaters were arrested for operating under the influence during the effort.
This year's campaign saw an increase in boater contacts compared to 2025, when wardens contacted 392 vessels carrying 1,064 people during the holiday weekend.
"Operation Dry Water is about much more than enforcement," said Game Warden Captain Buck Tingle, NDOW's Boating Law Administrator. "It's about being visible on the water, educating boaters, assisting people when they need help, and encouraging everyone to make responsible decisions before leaving the dock. Every safe trip home is a success."
