EmployNV Career events happening for job seekers in Northern Nevada

EmployNV is inviting job seekers to upcoming hiring events to offer resources and job connections in Northern Nevada.

A virtual hiring event is happening for Specialized Protective Services. They're looking for full-time and part-time security guards in Reno. The pay range is from $18 to $21 for both types of positions. Also in Reno, the United States Postal Service is hiring for postal carriers. The starting pay is $20 an hour. Interviews are done on-site with application assistance on Tuesday, December 16, from 9 a.m. through 11 a.m. at the EmployNV Business Hub. You can view positions and details here.

In Carson City, every Friday in December, you can join EmployNV's Career Development events to get assistance with resume development, job matching, career help, re-employment items, certifications, training, and more. The events happen at the Carson City Library from 10 a.m. through 1 p.m., inside the second-floor learning center. 

Career seekers can also get hands-on experience in Carson City at EmployNV's workshop that aims to help people with resume building. The workshop is happening on Thursday, December 18, from 10 a.m. through 11 a.m. at the EmployNV Career Hub.

In Fallon, Boxout is hiring warehouse associates that pays $18.50 to $25.00 hourly with benefits. The hiring event is happening on Tuesday, December 16, from 11 a.m. through 1 p.m. at the EmployNV Business/Career Hub in Fallon. For details visit here.
